Preparation of control materials

Until the date of the analysis, the blood is stored in a refrigerator at a temperature of 2-8°C. Do not put in a camera! Before the analysis, the vial is removed from the refrigerator and left at room temperature for 15 minutes. Mixing is done manually only! Do not use a mechanical mixer! It is mixed gently by placing it between the palms of the hands as follows: The blood is mixed gently for about 20-30 seconds, turning occasionally with the bottom up. Rough shaking is not allowed! Stirring continues until the erythrocytes are completely suspended! The vial is inverted another 8-10 times before blood is drawn for testing. Test the control blood according to the instructions of your device. Control blood is not used for calibration.
